IIT JAM 2026 Admit Card Release Postponed, Revised Date to Be Announced Soon

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has postponed the release of the IIT JAM 2026 admit card. Candidates who applied for the Joint Admission Test for Masters were earlier expecting the hall ticket in early January, but the institute has now delayed the release.

According to the latest update,the revised admit card release date has not yet been announced.IIT Bombay has stated that the new date will be shared soon through the official JAM website. Candidates are advised to keep checking the portal regularly for updates.

Once released, the admit card will be available online. Registered candidates will be able to download it by logging in using their enrollment ID and password. The admit card will mention important details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, examination centre, reporting time, and exam-day instructions.

Despite the delay in the admit card release, the IIT JAM 2026 examination schedule remains unchanged.The exam is scheduled to be conducted onFebruary 15, 2026, , in computer-based test (CBT) mode across various centres in India.

Candidates must ensure that they download the admit card well in advance and verify all details carefully. Carrying a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo identity proof will be mandatory on the day of the examination.

IIT JAM is a national-level entrance examination conducted for admission to postgraduate science programmes offered by IITs, IISc Bengaluru, and other participating institutes across the country.
