After the great success of Xiaomi’s Mi 6x which is also known as Mi A2 last year, Xiaomi, this year, is planning to launch the successor of these models. The original Mi A2 was launched as the Redmi 6 Pro in India and it is reasonable that Xiaomi would retitle the Mi A3 Lite to the Redmi 7 pro when it will come to India.

On 9 May 2019, Xiaomi has begun to tease a new smartphone with a triple camera setup on the back, which is also going to be soon launching in India with a Snapdragon 700 Series Chip. We are not fully sure but are sure enough to say that this might be the upcoming Mi A3.

On 29 April 2019, India Head of Xiaomi had posted a post on Twitter which revealed that a new Xiaomi device with a Snapdragon 700 series processor is going to be launching soon. We are expecting the processor to be the Snapdragon 730 as it was launched back in 2 months ago. This device is most probably to be the Mi A3, and the good news for the fans is that it is going to be first launched in India.

At first, the Xiaomi Mi A3 is going to be launched as the Mi 7x in the Chinese market, and after a month or a couple of weeks and by the mid of Q3 2019, the device is going to see a global release. Its download speed will lead to up to 800mbps because of it sports an X15 LTE modem. Though it is not 5G ready still it will provide a great speed anyway.

If the reports are correct then this might be the biggest drawbacks of the Xiaomi Mi A2 and it is none other than then its battery. As per to the rumors, Xiaomi is going to fix the issue and will also provide 3300 mAh battery inside the Mi A3 together with the 18W Quick Charging capabilities.

The base variant of Mi A3, it will have 4GB RAM, and 64GB internal storage, another one is of 6GB RAM if not 8GB with 128GB internal storage. The camera on the Mi A3 is again going to be class-leading with two sensors and that is: 12 MP, f/1.8, 1/2.9″, 1.4µm 20 MP, f/1.8, 1/2.8″, 1.0µm, one is going to be a telephoto while on the other hand, the other is expected to be a Wide-angle or a conventional RGB sensor.
